Who is max Bujold?
Bilingual singer-songwriter, frontman & Charity founder
Max Bujold is a bilingual singer-songwriter from the North Shore of New Brunswick, blending rock, country, blues, and folk into performances that are both musically dynamic and emotionally resonant. His English-language songs explore personal struggle, growth, perseverance, and love, while his French-language work draws deeply from his Acadian heritage and cultural identity.
Max’s debut EP, The Gamble, earned him a Breakthrough Artist of the Year nomination at the 2024 Music New Brunswick Awards. In 2025, he followed up with four additional nominations: Innovator of the Year, Champion of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Recording of the Year. He also gained national recognition as a semi-finalist at the Festival International de la Chanson de Granby and received four awards at the 2024 Gala de la Chanson à Caraquet.
A major career highlight came in summer 2025, when Max had the honor of opening for Les Salebarbes during Acadian Day celebrations in Charlo, NB, performing for an enthusiastic crowd of over 6,500 people. Later that year, he showcased at FrancoFête en Acadie, capturing the attention of the RADARTS network of diffusers and securing a RADARTS-supported tour across Atlantic Canada in 2026.
Beyond the stage, Max is the founder of Voices of Resilience, a charitable initiative that hosts suicide-prevention fundraisers while creating opportunities for local musicians, artisans, and independent businesses to connect and thrive.
Looking ahead, Max is preparing to release his highly anticipated first French-language EP, supported nationally by MusicAction, marking a major milestone in his artistic evolution and contribution to Canada’s bilingual music landscape.
