What time does State of Origin Game III kick-off tonight? Here's how to watch the Blues and Maroons go head to head for the decider
We're in for an electric night of rugby league tonight as the State of Origin decider lands in Brisbane.
This one's for all the marbles after New South Wales stormed to an emphatic victory over Queensland in Game II last month to set up a decider.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of tonight's match.
What time does State of Origin start?
8.05pm AEST: Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria
7.35pm ACST: Northern Territory, South Australia
6.05pm AWST: Western Australia
NSW centre Bradman Best is set to take his place in Wednesday night's Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium after completing his first full training session with the Blues.
Best, who was called in to replace Latrell Mitchell, has been on a restricted training program after suffering hamstring tightness following Newcastle's 16-12 defeat of Canberra last weekend.
The 22-year-old was cleared of a serious injury last Monday, but warmed up away from the team on Wednesday and Thursday and was largely and observer for the two sessions.
However, the Knights star, who made his Origin debut in Game Three last year, was untroubled in an opposed session on Saturday against Mudgee Dragons and will travel with the team to Brisbane on Sunday.
Matt Burton, who had trained in the centres in place of Best, will be 18th man in the Origin decider, with Joseph-Aukuso Sua'ali'i and Haumole Olakau'atu the non-playing members of the squad.
Sua'ali'i, who was sent off in the opening match of the series and suspended for Origin II, was called into the NSW Origin squad in place of Sydney Roosters team-mate Luke Keary.
He trained with the Blues on Thursday and Saturday and will remain with the 20-man squad.
Both Harry Grant and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow trained strongly for the Maroons on Thursday, despite the duo sitting out their past two club games.
The Storm skipper and Dolphins fullback took part in an opposed session against Wynnum Manly Seagulls on Thursday with no issues.

Queensland
The Maroons have recalled 22-game veteran Dane Gagai and his Knights teammate Kalyn Ponga to the Origin arena, with both men set to play their first game since the 2022 decider. Broncos outside back Selwyn Cobbo also returns after being rested from Game Two, slotting into the centres with Val Holmes moving to the wing to replace Murray Taulagi (hamstring). Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has been named and is expected to be right for the game after suffering an AC joint (shoulder) injury in Melbourne during Game Two. Warriors back-rower Kurt Capewell comes into the starting side in place of Jaydn Su'A. The Maroons remain 1-17 in Tuesday night's team update, with Trent Loiero and Reed Mahoney remaining in the extended squad.
New South Wales
Knights centre Bradman Best and Warriors forward Mitch Barnett are the new faces in the NSW team. After making five changes for Game Two in Melbourne, Blues coach Michael Maguire has recalled Best in place of the injured Latrell Mitchell, while Barnett replaces interchange forward Haumole Olakau'atu. There was a scare for the Blues last Monday when Best went for scans on his hamstring. Matt Burton is the 18th man and is the ready-made replacement should Best fail to come up. The centre resumed full training on Saturday and is set to take his place on Wednesday night. No changes to the Blues team 24 hours prior to kickoff, with Burton and Joseph-Aukuso Sua'ali'i remaining in the squad as 18th and 19th man, respectively.
Where is Game III?
Game III will be played at Lang Park in Brisbane.
There's a reason this venue is also known as The Cauldron – it's considered a bit of a stronghold for the Maroons.
The stats support the theory, too.
Queensland has won 65 per cent of State of Origin matches played here, and four of the past five.
And in terms of deciders, the Maroons' track record is even better – they've won 11 of 13 deciders in Brisbane.
